INSTRUCTIONS FOR NOOBS:

1) TAPE a piece of 4" x 4", 5mm, wood, acrylic or leather to your honeycomb or spoil board so it won't move.
* NOTE: I found using 3mm TruFlat plywood and cutting both pieces and gluing them together to be much nicer.

2) Pick a keychain and delete the rest (except the reverse side and sayings), and then click, File --> Save As, and give the file a new name. This was you can retain all of the graphics for future use.
Alt method: Select All - Ctrl + A, and the import it to your Art Library.

3) Side 2 sayings and reverse side are on a tool path, T2; they will not output to the laser. On the Cuts / Layers tab, turn off framing for T2.

4) Using Absolute Coordinates on the Laser tab, move the graphic into position and frame it. Move the graphic as necessary in Lightburn until it frames in the correct position in the center of the material.

5) Set your power and speed to the appropriate amounts to both engrave and cut the material used for your laser. 00/Black is engrave. 02/Red is cut.

6) Run the job. When the job finishes, use something like an Exacto knife to see if the material has cut all the way through. If you cannot remove the keychain, run another pass. Remove the keychain carefully, and flip it over to return it to the cut out in the material.

7) Select the Reverse Side tool path, hold SHIFT, select the original graphic so both are now selected, and click the BULLSEYE icon on the top of the screen. Turn OFF Output and Show on the Cuts / Layers Tab for layers 00 & 02.

8) There are FIVE sayings on the T2 toolpath. Select the one you want and drag it to the center of the Reverse Side toolpath. Set the text to another layer, 03/Green for instance for engraving.

Run the job and you're done! If the engraving isn't dark enough, run another pass.
